Hello,

Thank you for taking the first step . . . visiting this site.

How do I persuade you to take the next step? . . . the most important one.  I’ve never done anything like this before.

It’s only a small step but it’s the one that makes all the difference, changing you from being a curious onlooker to becoming someone very important to our cause and helping to save a young man’s life.

If this appeal was for homeless kittens or to help victims of a disaster I imagine this page might have been a bit easier to write.  There are many good causes out there so why should you help Jamie ?  That is both an easy and a hard question to answer at the same time.

Jamie is our son, a brother, a grand-child, a nephew, a cousin and a good friend to those who know him.  Jamie has a tumour on his spine, since January 2009 he has gradually lost the use of his left arm and now he is beginning to lose the use of his legs.  If left untreated he may die soon.  He urgently needs your help right now.

On this site you can read all about Jamie and his long fight with cancer, the story so far and why he desperately needs your help to get the only therapy that can help him which sadly is only available in the USA.

You have come this far, will you please help Jamie by giving one minute of your time to donate as little as one Pound or two US Dollars to make a huge contribution ?

How can a Pound make much difference? You may ask.  Well that’s the point – If we can inspire a lot of people to give just a little then we can reach our goal.  We need to raise £35,000 in the short term and around £100,000 overall; any money raised and not used will be given to Cancer Research UK.

I hope you will choose to help Jamie.  In return we can only offer you our sincere thanks and a wish that you receive something good in return or that someone helps you at a time whenever you need help the most.  Please help us by forwarding the link to this site to your friends.

Sincerely,

Steve and Janet Morgan
